Job summary

LeoForce in Everett, WA is seeking a mid-level Engineering Document Control Specialist to manage and maintain all engineering documents, ensuring accuracy, quality, and traceability across designs, plans, reports, and manuals.

You will drive the document control process with ECN handling, PDM system use, and configuration/change control, collaborating with engineering and other departments. A strong eye for detail and 3+ years in aerospace document control preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Management, or a related field is preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in document control, with aerospace/aviation experience.
• Proficient in Product Data Management (PDM) systems.
• Familiarity with ECN process and engineering configuration/change control.
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills; attention to detail; excellent communication.

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain all engineering documents in an organized, accurate, and accessible manner.
• Implement and oversee the document control process, ensuring documents are accurate and up-to-date.
• Work closely with the engineering team to understand and manage document requirements.
• Facilitate the ECN process, ensuring changes are properly documented and communicated.
• Utilize PDM systems to track and control document revisions.
• Implement and manage the engineering configuration and change control processes.
• Monitor and control the change control process, ensuring proper documentation and communication.
• Coordinate with other departments to ensure documents are accurate and up-to-date.
• Conduct regular audits of the document control process to ensure compliance with standards.
• Provide training and support to staff on the document control process and systems.
