Job summary

Blue Origin seeks an experienced Embedded Software Developer for our Avionics Design team in the Core Systems and Components group. You will develop embedded software in C/C++ for high voltage power systems and work closely with FPGA designers to ensure robust hardware/software integration.

You will drive software lifecycles from requirements through verification, implement drivers, and support hardware bring-up with strong debugging skills.

Qualifications

• Degree in a related engineering or computer science field.
• 5+ years of embedded software development experience.
• Experience with real-time operating systems and hardware interfaces.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, integrate and test embedded software in C/C++.
• Collaborate with FPGA designers for HW/SW integration.
• Develop low-level drivers and firmware for embedded platforms.
• Support hardware bring-up, debugging and verification activities.
• Contribute to software architecture, reviews and documentation.
• Execute unit, integration and automated regression tests.
