Job summary

RTX Collins Aerospace in Cedar Rapids offers a full-time co‑op internship where you will blend classroom theory with hands-on engineering. You’ll join a team that designs displays for commercial and military avionics and contribute to product development and process improvements.

You must be pursuing an engineering degree with at least 60 credits; familiarity with C++ or Python and Excel is desirable. This onsite role provides mentorship and real-world project experience while you continue

Qualifications

Must be pursuing Bachelor's or Advanced degree in Engineering and actively enrolled through the completion of the internship/co-op session.
Must have a minimum of 60 hours of credit by the start of the internship / co-op session.
Experience working on collaborative projects and teams.
Experience with Microsoft Office (Excel)

Responsibilities

Participate in a full-time, May/June–December co-op session.
Support design and development of displays for Commercial and Military Avionics.
Merge theoretical knowledge with practical engineering applications.
Collaborate with an outstanding team of engineers to develop displays.
Contribute to changes in product design or development processes.
