Job summary

RTX, in collaboration with Collins Aerospace, is seeking a Engineering Co-op in Cedar Rapids, IA. You will participate in a full-time, on-site co-op program focused on engineering displays for avionics, bridging classroom theory with practical applications.

Ideal candidates are pursuing an Engineering degree, with at least 60 credits completed, and experience working in collaborative projects. Proficiency in C++ or Python and Excel is preferred.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's or Advanced Engineering degree and enrolled through the internship/co-op session.
• Must have a minimum of 60 hours of credit before the start of the internship / co-op session.
• Experience working on collaborative projects and teams.
• Experience with Microsoft Excel.

Responsibilities

• Participate in a full-time, Monday-Friday co-op session January–July/August.
• Support design and development of displays for avionics for commercial and military applications.
• Collaborate with engineers on software and hardware integration for display projects.
• Tackle challenges with hands-on problem solving in a real-world setting.
• Assist in changes to product design or development processes.
