Job summary

RTX's Collins Aerospace division in Cedar Rapids, IA, is offering a full-time co-op internship for engineering students. You will immerse in a Monday-Friday schedule, bridge theory and practical engineering, and work on display development for commercial and military avionics.

You will learn about display and optical technologies, engineering design practices, and avionics standards, while collaborating with a team of engineers to apply problem-solving skills and contribute to product

Qualifications

Must be pursuing Bachelor's or Advanced degree in Engineering and actively enrolled through the completion of the internship/co-op session.
Must have a minimum of 60 hours of credit by the start of the internship / co-op session.
Experience working on collaborative projects and teams.
Experience with Microsoft Office (Excel)

Responsibilities

Immerse yourself in a full-time, Monday-Friday co-op session, that will run May/June - December (it is expected students will take a semester off from coursework to fully engage with this working mentorship opportunity).
As an Engineering Co-op at Collins Aerospace, you will be provided with the opportunity to broaden your background with a practical approach to engineering.
Work with an outstanding team of engineers that develop displays for commercial and military avionics applications.
Tackle challenges and apply problem-solving skills in a hands-on work environment.
Create and/or implement changes to product design or development processes.
