Job summary

RTX, in partnership with Collins Aerospace, is offering a full-time co-op internship for engineering students. The program runs Monday through Friday from May/June to December, with a focus on applying classroom knowledge to practical aerospace engineering challenges.

You will contribute to the design and development of displays for commercial and military avionics, collaborating with a team of engineers to advance product design and development processes on site.

Qualifications

• Must be pursuing a Bachelor’s or Advanced degree in Engineering and actively enrolled through the completion of the internship/co‑op session.
• Must have a minimum of 60 hours of credit by the start of the internship / co‑op session.
• Experience working on collaborative projects and teams.
• Experience with Microsoft Office (Excel)

Responsibilities

• Immerse yourself in a full-time, Monday-Friday co-op session from May/June to December.
• Develop displays for commercial and military avionics.
• Merge theoretical knowledge with practical engineering applications.
• Tackle challenges and propose changes to product design or development processes.
• Work with an outstanding team of engineers to create and refine displays.
