Job summary

RTX invites engineering co-ops to join a full-time, Monday–Friday co-op in Cedar Rapids, IA, Jan–July/August. You will gain hands-on experience merging theory with practical engineering on displays for avionics, collaborating with a team of engineers to solve real-world problems.

Interns grow through mentorship, tackle design challenges, and learn processes used in commercial and military avionics development, with a clear path toward professional development within RTX.

Qualifications

• Must be pursuing Bachelor's or Advanced degree in Engineering and actively enrolled through the completion of the internship/co‑op session.
• Must have a minimum of 60 hours of credit by the start of the internship / co‑op session.
• Experience working on collaborative projects and teams
• Experience with Microsoft Office (Excel)

Responsibilities

• Immerse yourself in a full-time co-op session Jan–July/Aug (semester off may be taken for full engagement).
• Assist with design and development of displays for Commercial and Military Avionics.
• Tackle challenges and apply problem-solving in a hands-on environment.
• Create and/or implement changes to product design or development processes.
