Job summary

Ascent Aerospace is seeking a CNC Operator to work with the CNC Department Manager on tool setups and program validation for 3-axis machines. You will handle daily NC operations for tools, details, and parts while upholding safety and quality standards.

The role requires reading blueprints with GD&T, 5 years of machining experience, and familiarity with Hurco 3-axis CNCs; occasional travel to other sites may be needed.

Qualifications

• Proven math and measurement ability including geometric tolerancing.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and GD&T.
• Experience in NC or conventional machining and familiarity with 3-axis Hurco machines.
• Export control compliance knowledge; U.S. Person definition per ITAR.

Responsibilities

• Set up NC tools and validate programs for 3-axis CNC machines.
• Oversee NC operation of tools, details, and parts.
• Maintain safe operations by following procedures and policies.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
