Job summary

Omni Aerospace Inc. is seeking an experienced CNC Machine Operator to join a production work cell environment, performing turning, drilling, tapping on complex components such as mechanical shaft seals.

Must have ability to set up and operate multiple CNC machines and verify first article quality. The ideal candidate will have at least two years of experience with 3-4 axis CNC machines, read blueprints, select cutters, and use precision instruments to ensure part accuracy, with the ability to

Qualifications

• Minimum two years’ experience operating 3 or 4 axis CNC machines
• Ability to do your own setups on CNC equipment
• Read and interpret design blueprints/drawings
• Operate more than one machine at a time
• Use precision measuring instruments to verify part accuracy
• Identify correct cutters for each job
• Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate a range of CNC machines for turning, drilling and tapping operations
• Ensure correct material loading per work order traveler and grain direction
• Secure parts in holding fixtures and verify first part run by inspection
• Deburr parts as needed and complete required ERP paperwork
• Monitor and document performance and part quality across operations
