Job summary

Pratt & Whitney is seeking a Bench Mechanic (second shift) to work onsite. You will perform pre-coating operations, surface prep, masking, and post-coating tasks, including troubleshooting and minor repairs on coating equipment.

Responsibilities also include deburring, grinding, and using precision measuring tools. Flexibility around shifts and overtime is required to support aerospace production needs.

Qualifications

• 0-1 years of related experience, or a completed degree/certificate from a post-secondary or vocational school in a related field with 0-1+years related experience.
• High School or GED

Responsibilities

• Perform pre-coating operations from verbal, written or computer-generated instructions, including surface preparation and masking duties.
• Perform post coating tasks such as removing parts from fixtures, removing masking, troubleshooting, and diagnosing malfunctioning equipment.
