Job summary

Pratt & Whitney in Springdale, AR is seeking a Blender / Bench Mechanic for 2nd shift to blend, deburr and assemble aerospace case parts in a FAA-regulated facility. You will read drawings and follow work instructions to meet exact specs.

Qualifications

• HS diploma with 1 year of relevant experience.
• Experience blending and deburring aerospace parts.
• Ability to read blueprints, drawings and specifications.

Responsibilities

• Blend, smooth and deburr surfaces as per work instructions.
• Perform assembly, disassembly, blast and cleaning operations.
• Read blueprints and determine work requirements on parts.
• Set up and operate machines with abrasive belts, wheels or disks.
• Inspect parts for conformance and maintain documentation.
