Job summary

GE Vernova in Houston is seeking an Aeroderivatives Services ITR Engineer to drive end-to-end CM&U projects and develop bid strategy, equipment offerings, and technical proposals for conversion, modification, and upgrades of aeroderivative gas turbine packages.

You will lead PEM activities, coordinate with Sales, Commercial, Product Management and suppliers, and travel for site surveys to ensure on-time, compliant delivery.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of engineering experience
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering from an accredited university
• Min. 1 yr. experience with electrical systems for aeroderivative gas turbine packaging
• Willing and able to travel domestically and internationally

Responsibilities

• PEM oversees technical execution of Aero CM&U projects from handover to contract closure
• Develop and monitor project engineering schedule and budget
• Develop and manage project technical strategy to mitigate risk
• Provide technical support for installation, start-up and commissioning
• Lead electrical scope on CM&U projects, managing scope, schedule, cost, quality, risk
• Produce design packages and required technical documentation
• Communicate design recommendations to internal stakeholders and customers
• Adhere to GE Vernova policies and standards
