Job summary

GE Vernova is seeking an Agile ITR Lead Engineer for CM&U Services in the Americas region. You will lead technical and operational execution from customer inquiry through order receipt and outage execution, balancing leadership with hands-on ITR work.

You will collaborate with Sales, Project Management, Design Engineering, Field Services, Sourcing, and Supply Chain to deliver reliable, efficient power solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering and extensive experience in engineering projects.
• Deep knowledge of heavy-duty gas turbine technology.
• Significant experience in Engineering, Technology, or Customer Project Engineering, including Application/Requisition Engineering.
• At least 8 years of relevant professional experience.
• Strong understanding of CM&U inquiry-to-order and order execution processes.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the point of contact for internal stakeholders across Sales, Commercial Operations, Project Management, Sourcing, and Engineering for Agile ITR matters in the Americas.
• Balance leadership with hands-on ITR execution, adapting to business needs and team capacity.
• Provide technical expertise and develop solutions across inquiry-to-order and order-to-remittance processes.
• Review inputs and gate requests to ensure scope clarity for proposal development and execution.
• Support ITR engineers during proposal creation, technical reviews, and negotiations.
• Review order-entry requests and manage work assignments to enable downstream execution.
• Manage technical and operational escalations from stakeholders on opportunities and projects.
• Monitor team capacity and workload distribution to ensure on-time delivery.
• Identify process gaps and drive improvement with Lean principles and KPI-driven problem solving.
• Support short cycle requests, change orders, and other critical ITR leader activities.
• Integrate with PM, Engineering, Manufacturing, Sourcing, and vendors to achieve project outcomes.
• Provide timely responses to technical inquiries using tools and SME collaboration.
• Foster a culture of technical rigor, customer focus, and continuous learning within the team.
