Job summary

GE Vernova, Inc. is seeking a Technical Leader, Electrical Engineering – Aeroderivative Services Upgrades to guide electrical design, integration, and execution across GE’s Aeroderivative gas turbine packages worldwide.

The role leads multiple concurrent projects, mentors engineers, and ensures safety, quality, and cost objectives throughout the project lifecycle from proposal through delivery. Travel to client sites is expected; a hybrid office environment is supported.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in gas turbine and accessories engineering design, applications engineering, or project execution.
• Minimum 7 years of Aeroderivative Engineering experience.
• Significant experience providing technical leadership.
• Strong knowledge of electrical engineering principles and design practices for packaged Aeroderivative systems.
• Experience with electrical system documentation (schematics, wiring diagrams, etc.).
• Familiarity with generator, excitation, protection, power distribution, MCC, switchgear, transformer interfaces.
• Authorized to work in the US full-time; no visa sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership for a team of electrical engineers supporting upgrade projects for the Aeroderivative installed fleet.
• Lead electrical design, analysis, and integration activities for conversions, modifications, and upgrades.
• Manage multiple concurrent projects with responsibilities for scope, schedule, quality, risk, cost, and reliability.
• Review scope, cost, schedule, and technical risk during early opportunity and proposal phases; assign work based on capability.
• Provide technical direction for package-level electrical systems and interfaces.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop compliant and competitive solutions.
• Lead technical reviews, site surveys, and field support activities as needed.
• Ensure engineering execution complies with policies, standards, and customer requirements.
