Job summary

GE Vernova is seeking a Lead ITR Plant Mechanical System Engineer to manage technical content for new unit proposals and projects, including BOP scope definition, analysis, and costing evaluations.

You will review customer specifications, identify scope deviations, and assess technical risk while finalizing equipment specifications and drawings. Collaboration with Sales, EPCs, and Supply Chain will be essential throughout bid support and execution.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering is required.
• 3 years of engineering experience is required.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally; AutoCad and Documentum proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical content for new unit proposals and projects, including BOP scope and cost evaluations.
• Review customer specifications, identify scope deviations, and assess risks of technical offerings.
• Coordinate with Sourcing on vendor selection and review supplier drawings for compliance.
