GE Vernova is seeking a Gas Turbine Project Engineer to coordinate technical project engineering and drive cross-functional collaboration across EPCs, customers, and internal teams. You will lead meetings, review contract requirements, and guide design decisions to ensure compliance with contracts and timely project delivery.

The role emphasizes cost/schedule impact analysis, budgeting, and providing technical leadership to engineering, manufacturing, sourcing, and installation teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering from an accredited college or university OR a high school diploma/GED with 5 years of relevant experience.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in Project Engineering, Design Engineering, and/or Field Engineering related to Gas Turbines or rotating equipment; 5 years with a HS diploma/GED.

Responsabilités

• Provide continuous improvement and act as single point contact for customer technical inquiries, change requests, and communications for gas turbine topics.
• Drive lessons learned back into design engineering to avoid repeating issues.
• Provide technical guidance to Project Management and Applications/Regional Customer Applications.
• Conduct Customer Kick-Off Meetings (CKOMs) and/or Design Liaison Meetings (DLMs) with customers or EPCs.
• Review contract documentation and communicate project requirements to all design functions.
• Evaluate financial/schedule impacts of scope changes via Cost & Cycle Estimates and Change Orders.
• Support resolution of cross-functional design complexities and mitigate engineering schedule issues.
• Manage the Engineering Budget and provide quarterly Estimate at Completions (EACs) to Finance.
• Provide technical support to engineering, manufacturing, sourcing, suppliers, and installation personnel.
• Present project issue resolutions to upper management with risks and action plans.
