Job summary

GE Vernova is seeking an Aerodynamics Lead Engineer to join the Aero, Thermal & Clearances Design (ATCD) team. You will own aerodynamic design for turbomachinery hardware across the product lifecycle, including NPI/NTI, testing, and field support, applying rigorous analysis with minimal oversight.

You will collaborate with global cross-functional teams, drive Lean improvements, and advance automation and scripting to increase productivity and design quality.

Qualifications

• Bachelors in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering from an accredited institution.
• Minimum 5 years of aerodynamic analysis and design for turbomachinery or equivalent.
• Experience with CFD tools such as CFX, ICEM CFD, Fluent, or ANSYS.

Responsibilities

• Independently perform aerodynamic analysis and design for turbine components across turbomachinery products.
• Develop and improve 1D/2D/3D aerodynamic analysis methods.
• Lead design work through NPI/NTI phases and provide clear, well-supported conclusions.
