Job summary

Chevron Corporation in Houston seeks a senior technical leader to oversee Aeroderivative Gas Turbine maintenance, reliability, and performance across business units. You will develop overhaul specifications, lead root-cause investigations, interface with OEMs, manage field service activities, and drive reliability and safety improvements while traveling up to 50% as required.

This role requires a strong engineering degree and 10+ years of aero turbine experience, with the ability to mentor teams

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering required.
10+ years of experience with aeroderivative gas turbines/jet engines.
Experience leading field service activities and troubleshooting.
Proven ability to develop overhaul and repair specifications and conduct failure investigations.

Responsibilities

Oversee field service work on aeroderivative gas turbines, including compressor and hot-section maintenance, turbine change-outs, and borescope inspections.
Advise business units during maintenance planning; interface with OEMs and service providers.
Develop and approve engine overhaul/repair specifications and testing protocols.
Lead root cause analyses and reliability improvement campaigns; manage technical requests and vendor interfaces.
Travel up to 50% as required.
