Job summary

Smoot Construction is seeking a Marketing Proposal Coordinator (MPC) to lead marketing activities and long-term strategies that position the firm to win work. The MPC will report to the Executive VP of Operations and collaborate with executives to drive brand recognition and client messaging.

The role covers proposal management, content creation, and marketing collaboration across departments, with a focus on delivering compelling submissions and coordinating events and digital content.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years in marketing, preferably within the AEC industry.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred in business or marketing, or similar education or experience considered.
• Experience in proposal and presentation planning, layout, developing, and curating proposal content for the AEC industry.
• Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator).
• Proven ability to tailor writing content to project type and audience.

Responsibilities

• Manage the RFP/RFQ process from start to finish.
• Coordinate with Executives to lead marketing efforts and brand recognition.
• Create client strategies and capture plans for submissions.
• Prepare and assemble final submission documents with accuracy and timeliness.
• Lead interview preparation and marketing materials for presentations.
