Job summary

Rivian seeks an Adventure Readiness Specialist to join our Service team during peak seasons, ensuring Rivian vehicles are ready for delivery and service. You’ll be at the front lines, helping navigate high-volume peaks and keeping owners on their adventures.

This role is an entry point with hands-on learning focused on preparing you for a future as a Service Technician, including TRAIL, RLN modules, and cross-functional training across the site.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent preferred.
• Previous technical experience (e.g. automotive repair, mechanical maintenance, or electrical work) or adjacent technical industry experience is highly preferred.
• Strong desire to learn, adaptability, and a hands-on approach.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Must be 21+ with a valid driver's license (no suspensions/revocation in 3–5 years).
• Ability to work a flexible 40-hour week including weekends/holidays; lifting up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Vehicle & Site Operations: receive, inspect, process incoming vehicle inventory; maintain vehicle readiness through washing, detailing and charging; manage vehicle logistics; maintain a clean, safe service center per 5S principles.
