Job summary

Rivian is seeking an Adventure Readiness Specialist to join the Service team during peak seasonal periods. You will help ensure vehicles are ready for delivery, assist technicians with basic repairs, and participate in TRAIL training to grow toward a Service Technician role.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or other recognized equivalency preferred.
• Previous technical experience in automotive repair or related field preferred.
• Strong desire to learn, adaptability, and hands-on mindset.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Must be 21+ years old with valid driver's license and clean record.
• Able to work a flexible 40-hour week including weekends/holidays.
• Physically able to lift up to 50 lbs and perform manual tasks.
• Ability to read and interpret regulations and maintenance instructions.

Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, and process incoming vehicle inventory; maintain readiness.
• Assist technicians with basic repairs and PDI tasks; learn to use basic tools.
• Participate in TRAIL program with mentorship and RLN modules; pursue long-term Service Technician path.
