Job summary

Rivian is seeking an Adventure Readiness Specialist in Colorado to join our Service team during peak seasons. You will help prepare vehicles, manage operations, and support technicians while pursuing hands-on training for a future Service Technician role.

The role emphasizes safety, customer service, and practical skills development through the TRAIL program and Rivian Learning Network.

Qualifications

High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent preferred.
Previous technical experience in automotive repair or similar technical field preferred.
Strong desire to learn, adaptable, and hands-on.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Must be at least 21 years old with a valid driver's license and clean driving record.
Ability to work a flexible 40-hour week with varied shifts, weekends, and holidays; lift up to 50 lbs.
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules and manuals.
Willingness to interact with customers, partners, and Rivian teams.

Responsibilities

Vehicle & Site Operations: receive, inspect, and process incoming vehicle inventory.
Maintain vehicle quality, detailing, and charging for delivery readiness.
Manage vehicle logistics, lot organization, shuttling, and key management.
Maintain a clean, safe service center following 5S principles.
Service Production Support: assist technicians with basic repairs, focusing on PDI and Express Lane tasks.
Learn to use basic hand tools and power tools under supervision.
Training & Career Development: participate in TRAIL program and RLN modules; pursue pathway to Service Technician.
