Job summary

Urban Air Adventure Park in Chicago, IL is seeking an Assistant General Manager to lead daily operations and uphold our culture of activating awesome. You will guide guest experiences, drive staff performance, and ensure smooth operation across attractions, food and beverage, and events.

The role requires supervisory experience, strong communication, and the ability to work weekends, evenings, and holidays. CPR/First Aid is preferred and a background check will be conducted.

Qualifications

• 1+ year supervisory or management experience required.
• Experience in hospitality preferred (Theme Parks, FECs, hotels, resorts, casinos, or restaurants).
• Ability to pass a thorough background check.
• CPR/First Aid Certification preferred.
• Professional demeanor and strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Cultivate a team environment with exceptional customer service while directing staff.
• Assist in hiring, retention, coaching, discipline; oversee staff training.
• Develop weekly schedules to meet business needs and customer experience.
• Lead and motivate staff; promote internal promotability into leadership.
• Oversee inventory control and expense management.
• Manage operations including entertainment, food/beverage, attractions, and inspections.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and secure environment for guests and staff.
