Pape’ Kenworth in Marysville, WA is seeking an Advanced Truck Technician/Mechanic for the day shift. You will diagnose, repair, and maintain heavy trucks, leading by example with a focus on safety and quality. The role includes mentoring other technicians and maximizing uptime for customers.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience working on medium and heavy-duty class 7/8 trucks, including engine repair and electronics.
• Kenworth Essentials certifications preferred.
• Basic computer knowledge; Cummins and MX software experience preferred.
• Self-motivation and assertiveness.
• Ability to work under little supervision.
• Excellent communication and customer relations skills.
• Must provide own tools.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, repair, and maintain medium and heavy Class 7 & 8 trucks with precision.
• Mentor and support other technicians in the shop to ensure uptime and quality.
• Analyze complex mechanical and electrical issues and execute repairs or rebuilds on major systems.
