Pape’ Kenworth in Ferndale, WA is seeking an Advanced Truck Technician / Mechanic to diagnose, repair and maintain Class 7 & 8 trucks. You will lead by example, mentor peers, and uphold safety, quality and uptime across a busy shop.

Qualifications

• 5+ years on medium/heavy class 7/8 trucks including engine repair and electronic troubleshooting.
• Kenworth Essentials certifications preferred.
• Cummins MX software experience preferred; basic computer skills required.
• Self-motivation and ability to work with little supervision; strong communication.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, repair, and maintain medium/heavy trucks 7/8 class.
• Lead and mentor other technicians to uphold safety and quality standards.
• Analyze mechanical/electronic malfunctions and determine repair strategy.
• Repair engines, transmissions, axles, steering, brakes, electrical and air systems; maximize uptime.
