Pape’ Kenworth in Ferndale, WA is seeking an Advanced Truck Technician / Mechanic to diagnose, repair, and maintain medium and heavy Class 7 & 8 trucks. You will lead by example, uphold safety and quality, and mentor fellow technicians in a well-equipped shop.

You will analyze complex malfunctions, determine repair strategies, and perform rebuilds on major systems, with a focus on uptime and customer satisfaction. This is a growth-oriented, team-driven role with strong training support.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience on medium/heavy-duty class 7/8 trucks
• Experience with engine repair, electronic diagnostics, HVAC, chassis repair
• Kenworth Essentials certifications preferred
• Proficient with Cummins MX software; basic computer knowledge
• Self-motivated, assertive, able to work with minimal supervision
• Excellent communication and customer relations skills
• Must provide own tools

Responsabilités

• Diagnose, repair, and maintain medium and heavy Class 7 & 8 trucks.
• Lead by example while upholding safety and quality.
• Mentor other technicians in the shop.
• Analyze complex mechanical and electronic malfunctions and determine repair strategies.
• Repair or rebuild engines, transmissions, axles, steering, brakes, clutches, electrical and air systems.
• Maximize uptime and return trucks to road quickly and safely.
