Job summary

Baxter International Inc. in the United States is seeking a Territory Sales Business Manager to represent our Advanced Surgery portfolio. You will build trust with doctors and nurses, promoting hemostats, sealing and tissue products, and meeting clinical/economic needs within your geography.

You will actively drive direct sales, educate physicians on product use, and coordinate with hospital leadership to optimize patient care while maintaining a strong focus on achieving territory goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 3+ years of relevant experience OR 8+ years of operating room sales experience.
• Experience with hospital based selling in the operating room and leading a large territory.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, with strong analytical and social skills.
• Travel at least 50% to remote or urban areas across several states.
• Must live within the current geography or be willing to relocate.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Achieve sales quotas through direct sale of all products and services.
• Educate physicians on on-label use and product features and benefits.
• Call on prospective customers, provide technical/product information or demos.
• Maintain relationships with customers and meet expectations of internal/external customers.
• Monitor sales vs forecasts and assess market potential for the territory.
• Coordinate with hospital administration, supply chain, and purchasing.
• Support other teams and contribute beyond own scope.
• Provide feedback to supervisor and marketing on programs and pricing changes.
• Work autonomously to achieve goals with remote management communication.
