Pearce seeks an Advanced Solar Field Service Technician (Operations and Maintenance) to perform preventative and corrective maintenance at solar sites near New Brunswick, New Jersey. You will operate and maintain Solar Utility equipment while upholding safety and reliability standards.

The role requires 2+ years of O&M experience on solar plants, hands-on electrical/mechanical troubleshooting, and familiarity with inverters, tracker systems, and substations equipment.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of O&M experience on solar power plants.
• Experience with inverters, tracker systems, or substations equipment.
• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting ability with safety focus (LOTO, JHA).

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative and corrective maintenance of Solar Utility and Sub-Station equipment.
• Document work orders, time logs, inventory, and emergency schedules.
• Troubleshoot electrical components using meters and related equipment.
• Test and troubleshoot installed solar equipment for proper operation.
• Maintain a strong safety mindset with LOTO and JHA procedures.
• Operate solo or in a group and drive a company vehicle when needed.
