Job summary

Vylor in Wahpeton, ND is hiring a Production Technician to support seed production operations on site. You will operate process equipment, follow quality plans, and use automated systems to drive safe, efficient production.

The role involves warehousing tasks, data collection for continuous improvement, and active participation in safety initiatives. A High School Diploma or GED is required, with rotating shifts and weekend overtime. Proficiency with Outlook/Excel/Word is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Ability to work rotating shifts including overtime.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Legally able to work in the United States; no visa sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Operate various process equipment following safety policies.
• Adhere to Quality Plan work instructions and requirements.
• Collect and record data for continuous improvement and production records.
• Support preventative maintenance and general repairs.
• Lead or support a safety program on site.
• Assist with warehousing activities including forklift operation.
• Use automation and computerized systems (HMI, PCs, iPads).
• Potential field management activities such as scouting and logistics planning.
• Assist harvest activities including seed sampling and truck unloading.
