Vylor in Renwick, Iowa seeks a Production Technician to join our seed production operations. You’ll operate processing equipment, collect data, and support maintenance while upholding strict safety and quality standards.

The role involves working on-site with potential field and warehousing tasks, requiring adaptability and tech comfort. Strong candidates will have a high school diploma, basic software skills, and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required with ability to obtain GED if needed.
• Demonstrated commitment to safety and following policies.
• Willingness to work rotating shifts and overtime during peaks.
• Comfort with technology and basic computer applications (Outlook, Excel, Word).
• Strong written and verbal communication and teamwork.
• Legally able to work in the United States and possess a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Operate process equipment safely following quality plans and instructions.
• Record data for production records and continuous improvement projects.
• Support preventive maintenance and general repair tasks.
• Lead or participate in safety programs across the site.
• Assist with warehousing activities including forklift operation.
• Utilize automation systems and field devices for tasks.
• Support field activities, logistics planning, and partner coordination.
• Assist harvest-related processes and other duties as assigned.
