Job summary

American Family Care (AFC) seeks an Advanced Practice Provider (APP) to care for patients within the scope of training at a franchised location in California. The role emphasizes collaboration with other providers to ensure efficient patient flow and satisfaction, with compensation described as a competitive hourly rate.

Responsibilities include comprehensive health histories, diagnoses, emergency management, and patient education, with duties varying by franchise location and policies.

Qualifications

• ANCC, AANP, or NCCPA board certification; ER/UC experience preferred.
• Active PA/NP licensure in state of practice with DEA and state CS certificate.
• Able to multi-task and work independently.
• Excellent communicator with staff, patients, and family.

Responsibilities

• Perform complete health histories, review records, develop medical assessments, and order labs as appropriate.
• Formulate medical diagnoses and refer patients to facilities or other resources.
• Institute emergency measures for cardiac arrest, shock, or other emergencies.
• Interpret data to determine patient status, management and treatment.
• Provide health care guidance to patients and families.
• Other duties as assigned.
