Qualifications

• High School Graduate or GED.
• 2+ years of healthcare related scheduling or call center experience.
• Proficient in navigating EPIC EMR and MyChart.
• Experience with Beacon Scheduling Orders or similar scheduling modules is a plus.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Handle high-volume inbound calls and schedule, reschedule, and cancel patient visits (clinic, telehealth, treatments, and procedures).
• Register patients during scheduling: demographics, insurance verification, referrals, and documentation.
• Coordinate appointments across multiple departments and campuses to ensure continuity of care.
• Train new staff on scheduling workflows and department protocols.
• Manage referral appointments for external offices and coordinate with medical records as needed.
• Support front desk operations, MyChart activation, and patient portal guidance.
• Escalate urgent issues to providers or managers to meet service level goals.
