Qualifications

• 1+ years of healthcare-related experience or 6 months in a UKHS patient scheduling role.
• Proven knowledge of EPIC EMR scheduling or other scheduling systems.

Responsibilities

• Handle high volume calls and schedule, reschedule, or cancel patient visits including clinic, imaging, labs, and procedures.
• Register patients pre-visit and verify demographics and insurance details; route referrals and medical records as needed.
• Conduct daily reminder calls and assist with logs, records, and data management.
• Prepare patient charts and maintain scheduling calendars; coordinate across departments and campuses.
• Use scheduling software effectively and stay current with changes; confirm orders with providers.
