Fairway Management is seeking a skilled maintenance technician to support 250+ apartment communities. The role emphasizes timely unit turns, safety, and strong attention to detail.

Candidates should have 3+ years in multifamily or related environments, with hands-on expertise in electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, and building systems. The position may require after-hours on-call and regional travel as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 3+ years in multifamily, commercial, or hotel maintenance.
• Working knowledge of plumbing, electrical, basic HVAC, carpentry, appliance repair, painting, and building systems (e.g., door entry, fire suppression).
• Knowledge of REAC and INSPIRE inspection preparation.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot electrical, plumbing, HVAC during unit turns, work orders and preventive maintenance.
• Perform general repairs independently.
• Maintain exceptional curb appeal.
• Complete daily resident work orders.
• Be available for after-hours on-call.
• Must have applicable maintenance tools.
• Conduct unit make-readies including painting, carpet Cleaning, and cleaning as needed.
• Perform quarterly preventative maintenance checks.
• Assist neighboring properties in maintenance tasks.
• Pick up supplies from area vendors while operating a registered, insured vehicle.
• Report to Regional Manager and Maintenance Superintendent for tasks.
• Travel to regional and corporate training/conferences as required.
• Maintain positive relationships with residents, vendors, and staff.
• Notify manager of health and safety concerns on site.
• Willing to work overtime as needed and approved.
• Eager to train in HVAC, safety, HUD and LIHTC maintenance standards.
