Job summary

Fairway Management, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Technician to support the upkeep of over 250 apartment communities and rental subdivisions. The role requires punctuality, proactivity, and the ability to manage work orders while ensuring safety and curb appeal.

Responsibilities include drywall, painting, plumbing, electrical, appliance repair, and preparing units for state agency and investor inspections. Travel to trainings may be required; overtime may be needed.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or the equivalent.
• EPA Certification.
• 5 years of experience in multifamily, commercial, or hotel maintenance.
• Working knowledge in plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, painting.
• Knowledge of REAC and INSPIRE inspection preparation.
• Knowledge of HUD and LIHTC maintenance standards.

Responsibilities

• Prepare for state inspections.
• Prioritize work orders for assigned properties.
• Lead make ready process with unit turns in a timely manner, including painting, carpet cleaning, and general unit cleaning.
• Perform quarterly preventative maintenance checks.
• Must be able to lift up to 55 lbs and work in confined spaces and outdoors in all weather.
• Be available for on-call after hours.
• Travel to regional and corporate trainings as required.
