Mercy Health is seeking a Registered Mammography Technologist to perform high-quality breast imaging in accordance with ARRT, ACR, and MQSA guidelines. The role includes screening, diagnostic, invasive, and DEXA scans under supervision.

You will operate breast imaging equipment, ensure patient safety, educate patients, and contribute to department quality programs. ARRT certification and 1 year experience preferred; on-site role based in Ohio, teamwork required.

Formación

• ARRT Certification in Diagnostic Radiology (required)
• Advanced Mammography modality registration (preferred or within 1 year)
• State licensure (preferred)
• BLS Basic Life Support (required at hire for certain locations)

Responsabilidades

• Performs all breast imaging and DEXA procedures.
• Assists radiologist in invasive breast procedures with aseptic technique and consent.
• Correlates clinical history with procedures and documents information for licensed provider.
• Operates breast imaging equipment and related devices.
• Selects radiographic technique exposure factors for quality images.
• Minimizes radiation exposure to patient and staff.
• Provides patient education and discharge instructions.
• Participates in department quality assessments and improvement plans.
