Job summary

Vivmark Residential is seeking a Maintenance Technician II in Durham, NC. The role focuses on diagnosing and repairing HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and related systems to keep our communities safe and comfortable. You will also assist with preventative maintenance and unit turnover, ensuring apartments are rent-ready on schedule.

Qualifications

2–3 years of maintenance experience in HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and related trades.
Valid driver7s license required.
Willingness to participate in on-call schedule.
Ability to read policies and SDS; safety-conscious.
Knowledge of PPE and safety procedures.

Responsibilities

Diagnose and repair HVAC, electrical, plumbing, appliances, carpentry, safety systems.
Complete service requests promptly and in line with standards.
Ensure vacant units are rent-ready in a timely manner.
Perform preventative maintenance.
Assist with interior and exterior painting as needed.
Maintain safety culture and report unsafe conditions.
Perform hot works (brazing, soldering, welding) within standards.
