Job summary

Vivmark Residential is seeking a Maintenance Technician II in Durham, NC. The role involves diagnosing and repairing HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and appliances to maintain community facilities and ensure timely service requests. 

You will support preventative maintenance, assist in painting, and uphold safety procedures while working on on-site maintenance for a large residential portfolio.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of experience in maintenance work, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and general maintenance repair.

Responsibilities

• Diagnoses and repairs problems in HVAC, electrical, plumbing, major appliances, and other maintenance areas.
• Completes assigned service requests in a timely manner.
• Ensures vacant apartment homes are rent-ready promptly and performs turnkey work as required.
• Conducts apartment preventative maintenance.
• Assists in painting interior and exterior surfaces.
• Maintains safety culture by following safety policies and reporting hazards.
• Performs hot works including brazing, soldering, and welding within standards.
