Job summary

Balfour Beatty Communities is seeking a Maintenance Technician to maintain the physical condition of our residential communities and deliver world-class service to residents and partners. You will diagnose issues, perform repairs, and coordinate with contractors to ensure timely resolution.

The role requires 4–6 years of maintenance experience, strong customer service skills, and certification readiness (EPA 608, Boiler, etc.).

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 4–6 years of maintenance experience.
• Certifications relevant to the region (e.g., EPA 608, Boiler Certification) within 9–12 months of hire.
• Valid state driver’s license with clean record.

Responsibilities

• Perform general maintenance on HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and carpentry systems.
• Diagnose issues, perform repairs, and coordinate with contractors as needed.
• Safely follow company safety policies and environmental procedures.
• Provide high levels of resident service and timely response to service requests.
