Job summary

Balfour Beatty Communities is seeking a Maintenance Technician to care for community assets and provide world-class service to residents. You will diagnose issues, perform repairs, and coordinate maintenance activities with staff and contractors.

Qualified candidates have a high school diploma or GED, 7+ years of maintenance experience (4+ years with EPA 608), and HVAC/plumbing/electrical/carpentry credentials. Excellent communication and time management are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 7+ years of maintenance experience without certifications or 4+ years with EPA 608 Universal.
• Possession of HVAC, Plumbing, Electrical, Appliance Repair Certification or Carpentry credentials.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to diagnose problems and perform repairs.

Responsibilities

• Oversee assets and supervise maintenance staff and contractors.
• Ensure safety and environmental policies are followed.
• Deliver high resident satisfaction through professional interactions.
• Maintain 24/7 on-call maintenance coverage.
