Job summary

Balfour Beatty Communities is seeking a Maintenance Technician to maintain the physical condition of our communities and deliver world-class service to residents.

You will diagnose issues, perform repairs, and coordinate with contractors while upholding safety policies and driving resident satisfaction. This role requires 4–6 years of maintenance experience and relevant EPA/Boiler certifications within 9 months of hire.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• 4-6 years of maintenance experience.
• Certifications relevant to the region (EPA 608, Boiler, etc.) within 9 months of hire/promotion.

Responsibilities

• Perform general maintenance and repairs on HVAC, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
• Inspect and repair resident service requests and community equipment.
• Supervise or direct external contractors on assigned projects as needed.
• Maintain safety and environmental policy compliance.
