Balfour Beatty Communities is seeking a Maintenance Technician to uphold the integrity of our communities. You will diagnose issues, perform repairs, and ensure timely responses to resident requests to keep our properties well-maintained.

This role requires hands-on problem solving and strong customer service in a fast-paced, service-driven environment. Ideal candidates bring 4-6 years of maintenance experience and a solid background in electrical, plumbing, HVAC, or carpentry.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 4-6 years of maintenance experience.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Proficient in electrical, plumbing, HVAC, or carpentry.
• EPA 608, Boiler, or similar regional certifications within 9 months.
• Valid driver's license with clean record.

Responsibilities

• Perform general maintenance and repairs across HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and related systems.
• Inspect and service mechanical and utility systems.
• Lead or direct technicians and coordinate with contractors on projects.
• Maintain safety and environmental policies; ensure resident satisfaction.
• Rotate on-call schedule for 24/7 maintenance coverage.
