Job summary

IEM is seeking a Field Service Technician Level II to perform start-up, commissioning, installation, testing, and service support for IEM equipment across various projects. The role requires strong diagnostic skills, independent work ethic, and the ability to guide Level I technicians.

You will engage with project managers, clients, and internal teams to resolve issues in the field and ensure quality, compliant service delivery. Occasional travel and on-site work are expected.

Qualifications

• Technical knowledge of electrical, mechanical, and field service concepts.
• Ability to read wiring diagrams, schematics, and technical documentation.
• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision and escalate when needed.

Responsibilities

• Independently perform start-up, commissioning, testing, troubleshooting, service, and repair of IEM equipment.
• Install and modify electrical components and subassemblies.
• Attend project meetings and coordinate with contractors, clients, and teams.
• Analyze system failures, identify root causes, and determine corrective actions.
• Troubleshoot electrical circuits, control wiring, and networking equipment.
• Document service activities, root cause analysis, and follow-up items.
• Assist with training Level I technicians as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
