Job summary

JE Dunn Construction Company is seeking a Superintendent 1 to plan, manage and execute all aspects of assigned projects in the Social Circle, GA area. The role focuses on safety, subcontractor coordination, and adherence to schedules and budgets to ensure timely and profitable project completion.

The candidate will oversee material and equipment, assist with people management, and ensure documentation is complete in alignment with JE Dunn’s strategy and values.

Qualifications

• High level of safety awareness and ability to lead safety culture on site.
• Experience coordinating subcontractors and field personnel.
• Strong understanding of construction schedules, budgets and QA/QC processes.

Responsibilities

• Leads all aspects of the company’s safety culture and creates awareness by demonstrating commitment to an injury-free environment.
• Provides management of subcontractors and organization of the overall job and workflow.
• Develops work plans for subcontractors and self-performed work.
• Coordinates and manages the care, custody and control of the project site.
• Leads various meetings including daily standup and weekly trade meetings.
