Job summary

Gerber Collision & Glass is hiring an Auto Body Technician to repair vehicles to pre-accident condition. You will disassemble, repair, and reassemble bodies, replace damaged parts, weld and repaint, and inspect work to meet KPIs.

This role emphasizes speed, quality, and customer excellence within a busy collision repair shop. Required a high school diploma or equivalent, with technical training or a 3-year apprenticeship preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Technical school program or 3-year apprenticeship in auto body repair preferred.
• Ability to read job orders and work with little supervision.
• Thorough understanding of repair methods and proper use of auto body tools.

Responsibilities

• Plan and perform vehicle repair work ensuring quality and speed.
• Disassemble, repair, and reassemble vehicles to restore pre-accident condition.
• Replace or repair damaged sections and glass; weld and fit parts as needed.
• Prepare and repaint vehicles per factory specs or approved equivalents.
• Ensure work orders are completed within labour time guidelines and inspect finished work.
