Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Technical school program or a 3-year apprenticeship in auto body repair preferred.
• Ability to read job orders and work with little supervision.

Responsibilities

• Plan the repair work and prepare cost estimates.
• Disassemble, repair, and reassemble vehicles while ensuring quality.
• Replace or repair damaged sections and glass; weld and fit parts as needed.
• Prepare and repaint vehicles to factory specifications or equivalents.
• Complete work orders within labor time guidelines and inspect vehicles.
