Gerber Collision & Glass is hiring an Auto Body Technician to repair vehicles to pre-accident condition with accuracy and speed. You will disassemble, repair, reassemble, and realign structural components, replacing parts and glass as needed while maintaining quality customer service and KPI targets.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, plus technical training or a 3-year apprenticeship. Safety, teamwork, and attention to detail are essential in a fast-paced shop environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Technical school program completion or 3-year apprenticeship preferred.
• Ability to read job orders and work with minimal supervision.
• Solid understanding of vehicle body repair methods and tool usage.

Responsibilities

• Plan the repair work and prepare customer cost estimates.
• Disassemble, repair, and reassemble vehicles to pre-accident condition.
• Realign chassis and frames to fix structural damage.
• Replace damaged sections or parts including glass and interiors as needed.
• Weld, fit parts, and repaint per factory specs or equivalents.
• Complete work orders within labor time guidelines and inspect vehicles after repair.
