Job summary

SMS group is seeking a Corporate Payroll Specialist to take full ownership of our bi-weekly payroll processing and system optimization using ADP Workforce Now.

You will coordinate payroll processing, ensure legal compliance, and act as the subject matter expert for HCM data and ADP configuration. The role includes managing self-service, benefits records, and enrollment activities with ADP support.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and 3–5 years of experience in HRIS/payroll or related roles.
• Minimum of four years’ experience using payroll software and processing payroll.
• ADP Workforce Now experience required – at least 3 years of configuration and payroll processing.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates and processes company-wide bi-weekly payroll in compliance with local, state, and federal laws.
• Acts as subject matter expert for HCM data, system configuration, and reporting.
• Manages employee and manager self-service features in the payroll system.
• Processes status changes and updates in the ADP system.
• Collaborates with ADP representatives on analytics and reporting within ADP.
