Job summary
SourcePro Search, LLC is assisting a premier nonprofit skilled nursing facility in Connecticut in recruiting an Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON). The ADON reports to the Director of Nursing and helps plan, organize, and direct day-to-day clinical and administrative operations of Nursing Services.
The role includes leading charge nurses and supervisors, ensuring regulatory compliance, driving QAPI initiatives, and supporting residents’ physical, mental, and psychosocial well-being through
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing required.
- Current, unencumbered RN license in CT required; CPR certification.
Responsibilities
- Assist Director of Nursing in planning and directing day-to-day operations.
- Provide leadership to charge nurses and supervisors.
- Monitor nursing care delivery, medication passes, and infection prevention standards.
- Lead development of person-centered care plans and assessments.
- Assist with staffing, scheduling, and staffing information posting.
- Support recruitment, orientation, licensing verification, and evaluations.
- Coordinate care with physicians and interdisciplinary teams.
- Lead QAPI initiatives and participate in surveys.
- Oversee medication administration and reporting of errors.
- Assist with budget planning and equipment/resource allocation.
- Partner with Staff Development to plan in-service training.
