A premier nonprofit skilled nursing facility in Connecticut is seeking an Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) to join its clinical leadership team. Reporting to the Director of Nursing, the ADON supports day-to-day operations and leads charge nurses and supervisors in delivering high-quality resident care.

Responsibilities include ensuring regulatory compliance, advancing QAPI initiatives, coordinating staffing, and supporting interdisciplinary teams to achieve residents' highest practicable

Qualifikationen

• RN license in CT is required; CPR certification preferred
• Minimum 2 years of nursing supervisory/leadership experience in a skilled nursing facility or similar setting
• 6 months of restorative nursing experience required
• In-depth knowledge of long-term care regulations and CMS Requirements of Participation
• Strong clinical judgment and documentation skills

Aufgaben

• Lead charge nurses and supervisors and oversee day-to-day nursing operations
• Ensure regulatory compliance and support state/federal surveys
• Drive QAPI initiatives and develop plans of correction
• Oversee medication administration and treatment schedules
• Coordinate staffing, scheduling, and staff development
• Collaborate with physicians, consultants, and interdisciplinary teams
• Assist with budgeting and resource allocations
• Plan staff in-service training and ensure safety policies are followed
